The M68000 line of processors is, hands down, my all-time favorite CPU, and it seriously isn't even close.

I've coded for x86 (and 圆4), worked in ARM, tried my hand at the Super Hitachi line of CPU programming, worked with Z80s, even dabbled in the 6502 line of processors, but all my love constantly comes back to this wonder series of CPUs from Motorola. In my time I've written for several high level systems, virtual architectures, and all sorts of hardware. I've been doing computer programming now for 25 years.
